Packaging for tissue culture & lab (Eco2)

For non-food applications (tissue culture), we offer a specialized range including hermetically sealable PP containers (microboxes), polystyrene trays, and sterile cardboard cutting trays. The focus is on sterility, controlled gas exchange, and reliable monitoring in incubation environments.

Reuse & autoclaving

The PP tray and lid are autoclavable (121°C) and can be reused to a limited extent; after each cycle they become more brittle, which is why 2–3 reuses are generally the maximum (without guarantee of performance).

Since January 2025, Eco2Box has been part of the Avamoplast family.

This allows us to expand our packaging range with specialized non-food solutions for cultivation and research environments, in addition to our well-known monoplastic expertise for the food sector.

The result: more choice, one sustainable partner in circular packaging materials.

Polystyreen vlootjes

Transparent PS trays, X-ray irradiated; lids and trays are supplied in separate boxes.

Cardboard cutting trays

Sterile cutting trays with raised edges, also X-ray irradiated.

Application framework (tissue culture)

Initiation, growth phase, and acclimatization: filter selection depends on plant species, incubation conditions, development stage, and medium volume/composition. Comparative testing is recommended when selecting filters.
